  1. Develop and implement quality control plans and processes for the Fabrication division of Lockheed Martin.
  2. Responsible for the overall quality of products and processes within the Fabrication division.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and resolve quality issues.
  5. Train and mentor employees on quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  6. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  7. Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO and AS9100.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
  10. Communicate and report on quality metrics and performance to leadership.
  11. Stay informed about industry best practices and implement them within the Fabrication division.
  12. Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
  13. Collaborate with customers and address any quality concerns or issues.
  14. Manage and maintain quality certifications for the Fabrication division.
  15. Participate in customer and regulatory audits.
  16. Monitor and manage the budget for quality-related activities.
  17. Ensure the Fabrication division is prepared for quality-related inspections and assessments.
  18. Lead and motivate a team of quality professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  19. Develop and maintain quality documentation, such as procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals.
  20. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Quality Management Or Quality Assurance.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Quality Management Role, Preferably In A Fabrication Or Manufacturing Environment.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Quality Management Systems And Standards Such As Iso 9001 And As9100.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Quality Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Quality Requirements To Suppliers.
