- Design and develop innovative power and thermal management solutions for advanced systems.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate new technologies and techniques for improved power and thermal management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and reports.
- Perform simulations and testing to validate and optimize power and thermal management designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to power and thermal management systems.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and trends in power and thermal management and integrate them into the development process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations in the design and development of power and thermal management systems.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing power and thermal management systems to meet evolving customer needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams and other departments as needed.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on power and thermal management concepts and best practices.
- Participate in meetings and presentations with customers to discuss project progress, technical solutions, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source necessary components and materials for power and thermal management systems.
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of design, testing, and documentation.
- Adhere to project schedules and budgets, and communicate any potential delays or issues in a timely manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Power And Thermal Management System Design For Aerospace Or Defense Systems.
Proficiency In Cad Software For Electrical And Thermal Design, Such As Solidworks Or Ansys.
Strong Understanding Of Power Distribution, Thermal Analysis, And Thermal Management Techniques For Complex Systems.
Experience With Industry Standards And Regulations For Power And Thermal Management, Such As Mil-Std-810 And Do-160.
