Job Description

Actively seeking an experienced Oracle database engineer to support the Space business area classified programs located in the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, US office. Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installing, configuring, hardening, deploying, backing up, restoring, recovering, and automating Oracle databases. Successful candidates will have experience maintaining multiple Oracle RDBMS in a virtualized Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment leveraging Oracle Data Guard. This is a non-telecommuting position that requires you to be on-site and includes some off-shift work and occasional weekend activities for planned system maintenance, planned upgrades and unplanned outages.

Job Qualifications

  • Database security processes and implementation; Oracle security patching experience

  • Proven experience in writing queries against Oracle database tables/structures/etc.

  • Understanding of SQL/PL-SQL language and ability to execute

  • Knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating system
