  1. Develop and maintain accurate and timely material sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer demand.
  2. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  3. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer demand and ensure accurate forecasting.
  4. Communicate regularly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and proactively address any potential supply chain issues.
  5. Work closely with production and operations teams to align material supply with production schedules.
  6. Create and maintain control accounts for material sales, tracking inventory levels and managing material costs.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the material sales forecasting and control process.
  8. Prepare and present reports and presentations on material sales forecasts, trends, and performance to senior management.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and developments to inform material sales forecasting strategies.
  11. Mentor and train junior team members on material sales forecasting and control processes.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical and legal standards, to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sales Forecasting And Material Control, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes And Inventory Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Customers And Internal Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Forecasting Tools, Such As Sap, Tableau, Or Excel, To Effectively Track And Report On Sales And Inventory Data.
