Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Planner Senior to join our team at Lockheed Martin.   1. Develop and implement production plans and schedules for the manufacturing of products.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination in production planning.
  3. Analyze production data and make recommendations for process improvements and cost reduction.
  4. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery.
  5. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of materials.
  6. Utilize project management tools and techniques to track progress and identify potential risks.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  8. Train and mentor junior manufacturing planners.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve production planning processes.
  10. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on production progress and potential issues.
  11. Identify and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and reports.
  13. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to production.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any potential production issues.
  16. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  17. Act as a subject matter expert on manufacturing planning processes and provide guidance to other team members.
  18. Proactively identify and resolve any production delays or issues.
  19. Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess.
  20. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Manufacturing Planning Or Production Control In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes, Including Lean Manufacturing Principles.

  • Proficiency In Using Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp) Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
