- Develop and implement NDT strategies and processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Manage and oversee a team of NDT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate NDT operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure NDT processes are integrated into product development and production.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Stay current with advancements in NDT technology and techniques, and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Manage the budget and resources for the NDT department effectively.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including clients and senior leadership, to provide updates on NDT processes and results.
- Ensure all NDT equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the NDT department.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field - A Manager, Nondestructive Testing At Lockheed Martin Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field To Understand The Technical Aspects Of The Job And Effectively Manage The Team Of Ndt Technicians.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Nondestructive Testing - The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Ndt, With A Solid Understanding Of Various Ndt Techniques, Equipment, And Processes.
Certification In Nondestructive Testing - A Manager, Nondestructive Testing Should Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Asnt Level Iii In Multiple Ndt Methods, To Ensure A Strong Foundation In Ndt Principles And Techniques.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills - As A Manager, Nondestructive Testing, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Ndt Technicians And Ensure Timely And Accurate Completion Of Ndt Inspections.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations - A Good Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Asme, Aws, And Ndt Specifications Is Essential For A Manager, Nondestructive Testing To Ensure Compliance And Maintain High-Quality Standards In Ndt Operations At Lockheed Martin.
