  1. Develop and implement NDT strategies and processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  2. Manage and oversee a team of NDT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  3. Monitor and evaluate NDT operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure NDT processes are integrated into product development and production.
  5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  6. Stay current with advancements in NDT technology and techniques, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  7. Manage the budget and resources for the NDT department effectively.
  8. Communicate with stakeholders, including clients and senior leadership, to provide updates on NDT processes and results.
  9. Ensure all NDT equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the NDT department.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field - A Manager, Nondestructive Testing At Lockheed Martin Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field To Understand The Technical Aspects Of The Job And Effectively Manage The Team Of Ndt Technicians.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Nondestructive Testing - The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Ndt, With A Solid Understanding Of Various Ndt Techniques, Equipment, And Processes.

  • Certification In Nondestructive Testing - A Manager, Nondestructive Testing Should Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Asnt Level Iii In Multiple Ndt Methods, To Ensure A Strong Foundation In Ndt Principles And Techniques.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills - As A Manager, Nondestructive Testing, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Ndt Technicians And Ensure Timely And Accurate Completion Of Ndt Inspections.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations - A Good Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Asme, Aws, And Ndt Specifications Is Essential For A Manager, Nondestructive Testing To Ensure Compliance And Maintain High-Quality Standards In Ndt Operations At Lockheed Martin.
