  1. Maintain the stability and security of the company's information systems by monitoring and managing Linux operating systems.
  2. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security of the Linux systems.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Linux systems, including server crashes, network connectivity, and application errors.
  4. Monitor system logs and perform regular system backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capability.
  5. Collaborate with the network team to configure and maintain network devices, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
  6. Develop and implement scripting solutions to automate processes and improve system efficiency.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Linux technology to make recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades.
  8. Ensure compliance with company and industry security standards and policies, including access controls and data protection.
  9. Work closely with other teams within the company to provide technical support and assistance as needed.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency support and troubleshooting outside of regular business hours.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members in Linux system administration best practices and procedures.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert for Linux systems and provide guidance and recommendations for system architecture and design.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Ability To Obtain And Maintain A Department Of Defense Security Clearance.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience Working With Linux Operating Systems.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Server Administration And Virtualization Technologies, Such As Vmware.

  • Experience With Scripting Languages, Such As Bash Or Python.
