  1. Manage inventory levels of critical items: The Items Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the inventory levels of critical items used in Lockheed Martin's projects.
  2. Analyze inventory data: Using various tools and techniques, the Items Analyst will analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Develop inventory strategies: Based on the analysis, the Items Analyst will develop strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and improve efficiency.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers: The Items Analyst will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of items and resolve any issues related to inventory levels.
  5. Monitor and track orders: The Items Analyst will track and monitor orders to ensure they are fulfilled on time and in accordance with company standards.
  6. Conduct risk assessments: The Items Analyst will conduct risk assessments to identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Items Analyst will collaborate with various departments such as procurement, engineering, and production to ensure alignment and support for inventory management initiatives.
  8. Maintain accurate records: The Items Analyst will maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and other relevant information for reporting and analysis purposes.
  9. Identify cost-saving opportunities: The Items Analyst will proactively identify cost-saving opportunities through inventory management strategies and present recommendations to management.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends: The Items Analyst will stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management to continuously improve processes and systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management Or Inventory Control.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Informed Decisions.

  • Familiarity With Inventory Management Systems And Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.
