Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team and drive the success of our IT initiatives. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and implementation of various IT projects. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.   1. Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
  2. Plan and coordinate project activities, including identifying project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  3. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  4. Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management.
  5. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  7. Facilitate meetings and discussions with project team members and stakeholders to drive decision-making and issue resolution.
  8. Ensure project documentation, such as project charters, plans, and status reports, are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
  9. Mentor and coach project team members, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure project success.
  10. Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Act as a liaison between project team members, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
  12. Provide regular project updates to senior management, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices for project management.
  14. Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement for future projects.
  15. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in project management, and apply them to project delivery.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In The It Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Project Management Methodologies, Such As Agile Or Waterfall.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex It Projects Within Budget And On Schedule.
