  1. Develop and implement security policies and procedures for the protection of company information and technology assets.
  2. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to identify and respond to potential security threats.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards, including NIST, FISMA, and other industry-specific requirements.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and procedures across the organization.
  6. Conduct security awareness training for employees and promote a culture of security throughout the company.
  7. Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  8. Conduct regular reviews of security policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective and up-to-date.
  9. Serve as a point of contact for all security-related issues and incidents, and respond promptly to any security breaches.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of security processes and procedures.
  11. Participate in security audits and assessments conducted by internal and external parties.
  12. Collaborate with external security vendors and partners to ensure the security of our systems and data.
  13. Provide timely and accurate reporting on security incidents and metrics to management.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the company's security posture.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on information security for the company and provide guidance and support to other team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Information Systems Security, Preferably In A Government Or Defense Industry Setting.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Nist, Fisma, And Dfars.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security Principles, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Vulnerability Management.

  • Active Certification In A Relevant Security Field, Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism).
