- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect sensitive information and systems.
- Monitor and assess security risks and vulnerabilities, and take necessary measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular security audits and reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security concerns in new and existing systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity to continuously improve security measures.
- Manage and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely and thorough incident response.
- Train employees on security best practices and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding security issues and solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners and agencies.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Proactively identify potential security threats and take preemptive measures to prevent them.
- Monitor and analyze system logs and reports to identify and address security issues.
- Prepare and present reports to management on security status and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information security.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Information Security, Preferably In A Government Or Defense Industry Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Information Security, Such As Nist, Iso, And Itil.
Professional Certifications In Information Security, Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Giac.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Teams And Stakeholders.
