
Flight Test Discipline Engineer
Flight Test Structures Engineer primary role is to support F-35B and F-35C flight test within the F-35 Integrated Test Force (ITF), NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. Structures disciplines include Airframe Loads, Landing Gear Loads, Pylon Loads, Air Vehicle Flutter, Air Vehicle Buffet, and Vibroacoustics. Flight test support includes providing real time control room monitoring of Structures parameter telemetry from the flight test aircraft, conducting pre-flight predictions and post flight data requests, correlation of flight test data with analytic predictions, and support of flight test anomaly resolution.
3+ years of related experience
Experience with fixed or rotary wing aircraft structural analysis methods and flight test experience.
Must be able to work independently and proficiently with structural analysis and flight test.
