  1. Create visualizations: Develop impactful visualizations using data and illustrations to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  2. Analyze data: Use your analytical skills to identify key insights and trends from large data sets and translate them into visual stories.
  3. Collaborate with team: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, gather feedback, and ensure accuracy and consistency in visualizations.
  4. Innovate and improve: Continuously research and implement new techniques and tools to enhance the data visualization process and improve the overall quality of visualizations.
  5. Quality control: Ensure that all visualizations meet the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  6. Present findings: Effectively present and communicate data and insights to different stakeholders, including executives, clients, and team members.
  7. Project management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Attention to detail: Pay close attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of all visualizations.
  9. Stay updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data visualization, illustration, and analysis.
  10. Uphold company values: Represent Lockheed Martin's brand and values through your work and interactions with team members and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Data Visualization Software: Candidates Should Have Experience With Industry-Standard Data Visualization Software, Such As Tableau, Power Bi, Or Qlikview, And Be Able To Create Engaging And Informative Visualizations.

  • Strong Design Skills: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Background In Graphic Design Or A Related Field, And Be Able To Effectively Use Design Principles To Communicate Complex Data In A Visually Appealing And Easy-To-Understand Way.

  • Analytical Mindset: As A Data Visualization - Illustrator - Analyst Staff, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Comfortable Working With Large Datasets. They Should Have Experience In Data Analysis And Be Able To Identify Key Insights And Trends.

  • Communication Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Presenting Visualizations To Stakeholders. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Crucial In Order To Effectively Convey Complex Data And Insights.

  • Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Visualizations Are Accurate And Free Of Errors. They Should Also Be Able To Spot Trends And Patterns In Data And Be Able To Translate Them Into Effective Visualizations.
