  1. Fabricate composite parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  2. Utilize various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and join composite materials.
  3. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all parts meet required specifications and standards.
  4. Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and improve composite fabrication techniques and processes.
  5. Troubleshoot and problem solve issues that arise during the fabrication process.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  8. Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.
  9. Continuously develop and improve skills and techniques through training and self-learning.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Composite Fabrication Techniques: A Composite Fabricator - Developmental Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Various Composite Fabrication Techniques, Including Hand Layup, Vacuum Infusion, And Resin Transfer Molding.

  • Proficiency In Blueprint Reading: The Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Technical Drawings Is Essential For A Composite Fabricator - Developmental. This Skill Allows Them To Accurately Fabricate Parts According To Specifications.

  • Experience With Composite Materials: A Candidate For This Role Should Have Hands-On Experience Working With Composite Materials Such As Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, And Kevlar. They Should Also Have Knowledge Of The Properties And Behavior Of These Materials.

  • Familiarity With Composite Fabrication Tools And Equipment: A Composite Fabricator - Developmental Should Be Proficient In Using A Variety Of Tools And Equipment Used In Composite Fabrication, Such As Hand And Power Tools, Molds, And Curing Ovens.

  • Attention To Detail And Quality Control: Attention To Detail Is Critical In Composite Fabrication To Ensure The Quality And Accuracy Of The Final Product. A Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Eye For Detail And Be Able To Perform Quality Control Checks Throughout The Fabrication Process.
