  1. Accurately estimate material costs for Lockheed Martin projects using advanced analytical techniques and tools.
  2. Work closely with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive material estimates.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the most cost-effective materials for each project.
  4. Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to ensure accurate and up-to-date material estimates.
  5. Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to obtain quotes and negotiate prices with vendors.
  6. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline the material estimating process.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all material estimates and related data.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Construction Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Material Estimating Or Procurement In The Defense Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standard Estimating Methods And Tools, Including Software Such As Sap Or Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Technical Data And Drawings.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Management.
