  1. Perform final inspections on aircraft prior to delivery to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  2. Conduct functional tests and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any technical problems or discrepancies.
  4. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records of all aircraft deliveries.
  5. Ensure all required paperwork, certifications, and documentation are completed and submitted to the appropriate authorities.
  6. Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers and internal teams.
  7. Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to facilitate the safe and timely transport of aircraft.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  9. Continuously identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality in aircraft delivery.
  10. Demonstrate a strong understanding of aircraft systems, components, and functionality.
  11. Provide training and guidance to new team members on aircraft delivery procedures and protocols.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in aircraft delivery technology.
  14. Represent Lockheed Martin in a professional and positive manner to customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  15. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Aircraft Maintenance And Repair: A Qualified Aircraft Delivery Technician At Lockheed Martin Should Have A Strong Background In Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, And Troubleshooting. This Includes Knowledge Of Aviation Electronics, Mechanical Systems, And Hydraulics.

  • Faa Certification: The Candidate Should Possess Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Certification. This Certification Is Required To Perform Maintenance And Repairs On Aircraft And Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In The Aviation Industry.

  • Attention To Detail: As An Aircraft Delivery Technician, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring The Safety And Reliability Of The Aircraft. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Attention To Detail And Be Able To Effectively Follow Technical Manuals And Procedures.

  • Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Pilots, And Other Stakeholders. This Includes The Ability To Document Maintenance And Repair Work Accurately And Provide Updates And Reports As Needed.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: Safety Is Of Utmost Importance In The Aviation Industry. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures, As Well As Experience In Implementing Them In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
