Job Description

At loanDepot, our Builder Account Loan Consultant is a critical role in ensuring our customers’ success. You would be responsible for guiding home builders through the loan process, from start to finish. As a Builder Account Loan Consultant, you would be a passionate problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure our home builders’ loan process runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of loan origination experience in the home building industry, and knowledge of the secondary marketing process. If you have a knack for understanding the complex challenges of the loan process and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, then loanDepot is the place for you.

Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between homebuilders and loanDepot to ensure successful loan process
Provide guidance and information to homebuilders regarding loan process and requirements
Analyze loan applications and determine eligibility of applicants
Submit loan applications to underwriting for approval
Maintain communication with homebuilders throughout loan process
Negotiate loan terms with lenders to secure best rates and terms for homebuilders
Monitor loan progress and provide updates to homebuilders
Assist with resolving any issues that arise during the loan process
Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and regulations
Develop and maintain relationships with lenders and other industry professionals
