Job Description

In this role, you will oversee a team of appraisers and ensure the timely and accurate completion of appraisals for our clients.   1. Oversee a team of appraisers and manage their daily activities, including appraisal assignments, deadlines, and workload distribution.
  2. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of appraisals.
  3. Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve efficiency and quality.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and sales, to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of any appraisal-related issues.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices, and ensure team compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
  6. Foster a positive and productive team culture, and promote professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
  7. Conduct regular performance evaluations and make recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action as needed.
  8. Maintain relationships with external vendors and appraisers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
  9. Prepare and present reports on team performance and appraisal trends to senior management.
  10. Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Uphold company policies and procedures and ensure team adherence to ethical standards.
  12. Handle escalated appraisal-related issues and provide timely and effective resolutions.
  13. Liaise with clients and address any concerns or inquiries regarding appraisal processes and results.
  14. Keep abreast of market trends and changes in the real estate and financial services industries.
  15. Lead by example and embody the company's core values of integrity, excellence, and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Real Estate Appraisal Or Mortgage Lending.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Appraisals And Lending.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Communicate With Clients.

  • Professional Appraisal License Or Certification, Such As Certified Residential Or General Real Estate Appraiser.
