- Oversee a team of appraisers and manage their daily activities, including appraisal assignments, deadlines, and workload distribution.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of appraisals.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and sales, to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of any appraisal-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices, and ensure team compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
- Foster a positive and productive team culture, and promote professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and make recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action as needed.
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and appraisers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Prepare and present reports on team performance and appraisal trends to senior management.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures and ensure team adherence to ethical standards.
- Handle escalated appraisal-related issues and provide timely and effective resolutions.
- Liaise with clients and address any concerns or inquiries regarding appraisal processes and results.
- Keep abreast of market trends and changes in the real estate and financial services industries.
- Lead by example and embody the company's core values of integrity, excellence, and teamwork.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Real Estate Appraisal Or Mortgage Lending.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Appraisals And Lending.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Communicate With Clients.
Professional Appraisal License Or Certification, Such As Certified Residential Or General Real Estate Appraiser.
