Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team and help us fulfill this mission. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic imaging services, using state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment.   1. Conduct thorough and accurate ultrasound examinations on patients in a timely manner.
  2. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure its proper functioning and safety.
  3. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images for accurate diagnosis.
  4. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
  5. Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in ultrasound technology and procedures.
  8. Provide exceptional patient care by demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
  9. Communicate effectively and efficiently with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  10. Uphold the values and standards of LifeBridge Health, including a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
  11. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in regards to patient confidentiality and privacy.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workflow.
  13. Attend and participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities.
  14. Demonstrate a willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
  15. Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by LifeBridge Health and regulatory agencies.
  16. Continuously evaluate and improve practices to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
  17. Serve as a positive and professional representative of LifeBridge Health in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Diagnostic Ultrasounds.

  • Knowledge Of Various Ultrasound Equipment And Techniques, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, And Vascular Imaging.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Patients And Medical Staff.
