  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures accurately and efficiently according to established protocols and physician orders.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
  3. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine proper imaging techniques and ensure accurate interpretation of results.
  6. Keep up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  7. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  10. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.
  12. Participate in continuing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  13. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  16. Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments.
  17. Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and participate in quality assurance activities.
  18. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.

  • Certification Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience As An Ultrasound Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Ultrasound Procedures, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, And Vascular.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Interact With Patients In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
