1. Provide support and assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
2. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working order and readily available for use.
3. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist with positioning and draping patients for procedures.
4. Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.
5. Monitor the patient's vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
