As a Surgical Tech at LifeBridge Health, you will be an integral part of our surgical team, providing support and assistance to our surgeons during procedures.   1. Provide support and assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
  2. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working order and readily available for use.
  3. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist with positioning and draping patients for procedures.
  4. Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.
  5. Monitor the patient's vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
  6. Keep accurate records of procedures, equipment used, and patient information.
  7. Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  8. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  9. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  10. Take responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment, including restocking supplies and disposing of hazardous materials.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
  12. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed during their surgical experience.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and employee satisfaction in all job duties and interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Surgical Technology Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification As A Surgical Technologist Through The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Surgical Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Instruments, Equipment, And Procedures.

  • Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment And Maintain Composure During Emergencies.
