Job Description

  1. Provide excellent patient care under the supervision of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.
  2. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care.
  3. Attend to the physical and emotional needs of patients, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  4. Assist with basic nursing tasks such as taking vitals, administering medications, and performing simple procedures.
  5. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.

  7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Currently Enrolled In An Accredited Nursing Program: To Be Considered For A Student Nurse Intern Position At Lifebridge Health, Applicants Must Be Currently Enrolled In An Accredited Nursing Program. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Are Actively Pursuing A Career In The Field.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: As A Healthcare Organization, Lifebridge Health Requires All Student Nurse Interns To Hold A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification. This Certification Signifies That Applicants Have Received Training In Life-Saving Techniques And Are Prepared To Respond In Emergency Situations.

  • Strong Academic Performance: Lifebridge Health Looks For Student Nurse Interns Who Have Demonstrated Strong Academic Performance In Their Nursing Program. This Includes A Minimum Gpa Requirement And A History Of Passing Nursing Exams With High Marks.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Student Nurse Intern, Candidates Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With People Of All Ages And Backgrounds, As Well As The Ability To Document Patient Information Accurately.

  • Availability To Work Rotating Shifts: Student Nurse Interns At Lifebridge Health Are Expected To Work Rotating Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays. This Ensures That Interns Are Exposed To A Variety Of Patient Care Settings And Have The Opportunity To Gain Experience In Different Areas Of The Hospital. Applicants Must Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Willing To Work Outside Of Traditional 9-5 Hours.
