Sterile Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and sterilize supplies, instruments, and equipment for use in patient care areas.
2. Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization procedures and records.
3. Ensure that all instruments and equipment are sterilized according to established protocols.
4. Follow established safety and infection control procedures.
5. Inspect, repair, and maintain instruments and equipment.
6. Assist in the training and development of new staff members in sterile processing techniques.
7. Evaluate new sterilization processes and equipment.
8. Monitor and replenish supplies as needed.
9. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
