  1. Perform complex spinal surgeries to improve the quality of life for patients.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in spinal surgery to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  3. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education about their condition and treatment options.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and physical therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and standard procedures to prevent medical errors and ensure patient safety.
  7. Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  8. Supervise and train junior medical staff, including residents and fellows.
  9. Stay informed about insurance and reimbursement policies to ensure proper billing and coding practices.
  10. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.

  13. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation within the neurosurgery department.
  14. Represent the hospital and department in a professional manner to patients, families, and the community.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and privacy.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Spine Neurosurgeon At Lifebridge Health Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Neurosurgery By The American Board Of Neurological Surgery (Abns).

  • Fellowship Training: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed A Fellowship In Spine Surgery, With A Focus On Minimally Invasive Techniques, At A Reputable Institution.

  • Extensive Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Spine Surgery Is Required, With A Track Record Of Successful Surgeries And Patient Outcomes.

  • Licensure: The Candidate Must Have A Current, Unrestricted Medical License To Practice In The State Of Maryland, Or Be Eligible For Licensure By The Time Of Employment.
