  1. Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans to address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
  3. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing skills.
  7. Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of speech pathology through continued education and training.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow infection control protocols.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive treatment experience.
  12. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience in working with patients who may have complex communication and swallowing needs.
  13. Adhere to all policies and procedures of LifeBridge Health and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Attend staff meetings and participate in team discussions to improve patient care and department operations.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance skills and expertise.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited University.

  • Certificate Of Clinical Competence In Speech-Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).

  • State Licensure As A Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Environment.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Conducting Diagnostic Evaluations And Creating Individualized Treatment Plans For Patients With Communication And Swallowing Disorders.
