  1. Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for surgical procedures.
  2. Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
  3. Maintain sterile and safe surgical environment.
  4. Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
  5. Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical supplies and equipment.
  6. Document and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures.
  7. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  9. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during surgical procedures.
  10. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical technology and techniques.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Or Certified Surgical First Assistant (Csfa) Credential From A Nationally Recognized Organization Such As The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Specialty Surgical Setting, Such As Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Or Cardiovascular Surgery.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Specialized Surgical Equipment And Instruments Related To The Specific Specialty Area.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Adapt To Changing Situations, As Well As Collaborate Effectively With The Surgical Team.

  • Current Bls (Basic Life Support) Certification And A Strong Understanding Of Infection Control And Sterile Techniques.
