1. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors by enforcing all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
2. Patrol designated areas of the healthcare facility, including buildings, parking lots, and grounds, to deter and detect potential security threats.
3. Respond promptly to all security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation and maintain order.
4. Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
5. Conduct routine safety and security checks of equipment, facilities, and systems, promptly reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate authorities.
6. Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
7. Prepare and maintain detailed reports of all security-related incidents, including thefts, accidents, and other violations.
8. Collaborate with other members of the security team, as well as law enforcement and emergency services personnel, to coordinate responses to security threats and emergencies.
9. Stay up-to-date on all relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to security and emergency management, and ensure compliance at all times.
10. Represent LifeBridge Health in a positive and professional manner, both on and off duty, promoting the organization's mission and values.
11. Participate in training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills related to security and law enforcement.
12. Maintain a high level of physical fitness and readiness, including the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Manager or other designated authority.
