  1. Develop and implement simulation-based learning experiences for healthcare professionals.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify training needs and create simulation scenarios.
  3. Utilize simulation technology and equipment to create realistic and effective learning experiences.
  4. Train and educate healthcare professionals on the use of simulation technology and equipment.
  5. Create and maintain training materials and resources for simulation-based learning.
  6. Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of simulation-based learning programs.
  7. Continuously update and improve simulation-based learning programs to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  8. Maintain and troubleshoot simulation equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in simulation education.
  10. Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide guidance and support during simulation exercises.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to integrate simulation-based learning into overall training and development programs.
  12. Participate in the recruitment and selection of simulation staff and instructors.
  13. Serve as a mentor and resource for simulation staff and instructors.
  14. Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to leadership regarding simulation-based learning programs.
  15. Adhere to all organization policies and procedures, as well as safety protocols, during simulation exercises.
  16. Attend and participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and training to stay updated on best practices in simulation education.
  17. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the simulation department.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Simulation Education Or Healthcare Education, Preferably In A Hospital Or Academic Setting.

  • A Master's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Education, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Healthcare Simulation Educator (Chse) Or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (Chsos) Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Healthcare Simulation Technology And Equipment, Including Audiovisual Systems And Patient Simulators.

  • Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Teach And Interact With Students, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Stakeholders.
