Active Enrollment In An Accredited Nursing Program: The Candidate Must Be Currently Enrolled In A Nursing Program That Is Recognized By An Accrediting Body.
Basic Life Support Certification: A Current And Valid Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Essential For Any Nursing Student, As It Ensures The Ability To Provide Emergency Care In Case Of A Crisis.
Clinical Experience: Prior Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Apply Theoretical Knowledge In A Practical Setting.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Prn Nursing Student, Effective Communication With Patients, Family Members, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours: As A Prn Employee, The Nursing Student Must Be Available To Work On An As-Needed Basis, Including Weekends, Evenings, And Holidays. Flexibility In Scheduling Is A Key Qualification For This Role.
