- Operate and maintain dialysis equipment to ensure safe and effective treatments for patients with kidney disease.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during dialysis treatments.
- Ensure proper setup and sterilization of equipment before and after each treatment.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for administering medications and fluids during treatments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' treatments and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
- Keep inventory of supplies and equipment and order new supplies as needed.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patients' response to treatments and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on the latest dialysis technology and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide holistic care to patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and documentation.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during treatments.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ethical and professional standards in all job duties and interactions.

- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Relevant Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As Completion Of An Accredited Training Program For Renal Dialysis Technicians.
Certification: Possession Of A Valid Certification From A Recognized Certifying Agency, Such As The Board Of Nephrology Examiners Nursing And Technology (Bonent) Or The National Nephrology Certification Organization (Nnco).
Clinical Experience: At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Dialysis Center Or Hospital, With A Strong Understanding Of Renal Disease And Dialysis Procedures.
Technical Skills: Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Dialysis Equipment, As Well As Knowledge Of Water Treatment Systems And Infection Control Protocols.
Communication And Teamwork: Strong Communication, Interpersonal, And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Working Effectively With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
