Registered Nurse- Vascular Access

LifeBridge Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for excellence to join our Vascular Access Team. This individual will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in our Vascular Access department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in vascular access, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to providing excellence in patient care.Required Qualifications:-Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maryland-Minimum two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, preferably in a Vascular Access department-Current BLS certification-Excellent communication and customer service skills-Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the Vascular Access department.
2. Maintain a high standard of care for all patients and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
3. Ensure patient information is properly documented and updated in the electronic medical records system.
4. Monitor and assess patient progress and condition, and report any changes to the physician or physician assistant.
5. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician or physician assistant.
6. Educate patients and family members about health maintenance and illness prevention.
7. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
8. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to review patient progress.
9. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
10. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
