1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
2. Monitor and assess patient's condition, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate any changes in patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare providers.
4. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make quick and informed decisions in emergency situations.
5. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and post-treatment care.
6. Follow all hospital protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
8. Stay current with advancements in nursing practices and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
9. Serve as a mentor and resource for new or less experienced nurses on the unit.
