1. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pregnant women and their unborn babies in the Maternal Fetal Medicine department.
2. Utilize knowledge and skills in obstetrics and gynecology to effectively assess, plan, and implement care for patients.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans for patients.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
6. Educate patients and their families on prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum care.
7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
9. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients' rights are respected and their needs are met.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
11. Act as a resource for other healthcare team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
12. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
13. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
14. Act as a positive role model and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
15. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
