- Provide exceptional and compassionate care to critically ill patients in our High-Intensity Care Unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, report changes to physicians, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and prioritize patient needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes.
- Maintain a valid RN license and stay current on all certifications, including ACLS and BLS.
- Act as a patient advocate and promote patient and family involvement in care decisions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in critical care.

- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced nursing staff, including mentoring and precepting new nurses.
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills.
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Maryland.
Bls And Acls Certifications.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A High-Intensity Care Unit (Hicu) Or Acute Care Setting.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment While Maintaining Composure And Providing Quality Patient Care.
