LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, educating patients and their families, and promoting a positive patient experience.   1. Provide direct patient care for individuals with gastrointestinal conditions, including performing assessments, administering treatments and medications, and monitoring patient progress.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote overall health and well-being.
  4. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to anticipate and address potential complications, side effects, and adverse reactions in patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  6. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive patient experience and ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
  8. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to gastroenterology through participation in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with healthcare team members to identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  10. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs and providing emotional support as needed.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  12. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care.
  13. Follow evidence-based practice guidelines and standards of care in all aspects of patient care.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating professionalism, respect, and teamwork.
  15. Serve as a role model for nursing students and new staff by promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution

  • Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Gastroenterology Nursing

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Administering And Monitoring Various Gastroenterology Procedures And Treatments

  • Strong Communication, Critical Thinking, And Problem-Solving Skills
