- Provide compassionate and high-quality end-of-life care to patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their illness and treatment options.
- Support and assist patients and families in coping with emotional and psychological challenges.
- Promote a comfortable and peaceful environment for patients and their loved ones.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient's medical history and progress.
- Adhere to all hospice and nursing standards and protocols.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make necessary adjustments.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Registered Nurse-Bridging Life Hospice At Lifebridge Health Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills In Patient Care, Health Promotion, And Disease Prevention.
Current Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Maryland. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Minimum Standards For Nursing Practice And Is Able To Provide Safe And Competent Care To Patients.
Hospice And Palliative Care Certification: Lifebridge Health Prefers Candidates Who Have Completed Specialized Training And Hold Certification In Hospice And Palliative Care. This Certification Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of The Principles And Practices Of End-Of-Life Care And A Commitment To Providing Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Hospice Or Palliative Care Experience: Lifebridge Health Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Hospice Or Palliative Care Nursing. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Foundation In Providing Care For Patients With Life-Limiting Illnesses And Is Familiar With The Unique Challenges Of This Field.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Registered Nurse-Bridging Life Hospice At Lifebridge Health Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Communicate With Patients And Their Families. This Includes The Ability To Provide Emotional Support, Actively Listen, And Effectively Convey Information To Patients And Their Loved Ones During Difficult Times.
