Registered Nurse - Adult Outpatient Psych

1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to adult patients in our outpatient psychiatric clinic.
2. Utilize expertise in mental health and nursing to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document all care provided.
6. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
7. Monitor patient progress and identify any changes in condition, promptly reporting to physicians and taking appropriate action.
8. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
9. Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor, building trusting relationships with patients and their families.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on advancements in mental health and nursing care.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as nursing standards and best practices.
12. Collaborate with community resources and organizations to promote a healthy community and provide support to patients and their families.
13. Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and their rights are respected.
14. Support and assist colleagues as needed, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
15. May be required to work evening or weekend shifts as needed to ensure 24/7 coverage for patients.
