- Assist in the planning, organizing, and implementing of recreational programs for patients and residents.
- Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all participants.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all programs run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all recreational activities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, residents, and team members to ensure everyone is informed and engaged.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recreational programs and make suggestions for improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and residents by addressing any concerns or needs that may arise.
- Keep accurate records of program attendance and participation.
- Help to promote and market recreational programs to increase participation and engagement.
- Continuously stay up to date on current trends and best practices in the field of recreation and wellness.
- Assist in the training and supervision of volunteers and/or interns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and resident information.
- Act as a positive role model for patients and residents, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience In Recreational Programming: A Recreation Assistant 2 At Lifebridge Health Should Have Previous Experience In Planning, Organizing, And Implementing Recreational Programs For A Diverse Population.
Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Effective Communication With Participants, Staff, And Other Team Members. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
Knowledge Of Safety And Emergency Procedures: As A Recreation Assistant 2, The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Emergency Procedures To Ensure The Well-Being Of Participants.
