- Create and organize recreational activities and programs for patients at LifeBridge Health.
- Collaborate with other members of the recreation team to plan and implement engaging events and activities.
- Establish a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients, encouraging them to participate in recreational activities.
- Provide guidance and assistance to patients during activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Maintain accurate records of patient participation and progress in recreational programs.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information about available recreational activities and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recreational programs to meet the needs and interests of patients.
- Assist in the set-up, clean-up, and maintenance of recreational equipment and supplies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Attend training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of recreation and wellness.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree In Recreation Therapy Or Related Field
Certification As A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (Ctrs)
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Recreation Therapy Or Related Healthcare Field
Knowledge Of Therapeutic Recreation Principles And Techniques For Various Populations, Including Seniors And Individuals With Disabilities
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams And Develop Individualized Treatment Plans For Patients.
