- Administer state-of-the-art radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients in a compassionate and effective manner.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to radiation therapy treatments, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, procedures, and patient progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during radiation therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures and potential side effects.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in radiation therapy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless treatment experience.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients throughout their cancer journey.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing new processes and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Attend training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of radiation therapy.
- Act as a role model for professional behavior and conduct in the workplace.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification As A Radiation Therapist By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In An Oncology Setting, Preferably With A Focus On Radiation Therapy.
Proficient In The Use Of Radiation Therapy Equipment And Software, Including Treatment Planning Systems.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
