  1. Conduct quality assurance checks on all medications and pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet safety and efficacy standards.
  2. Monitor and maintain proper storage conditions for all medications and pharmaceutical products.
  3. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve any quality-related issues.
  4. Implement and maintain quality control procedures according to industry standards and regulations.
  5. Perform routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality assurance activities.
  7. Communicate any quality concerns or issues to the appropriate departments and stakeholders.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance in the pharmaceutical field.
  9. Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  10. Foster a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Quality Assurance Pharm Technician At Lifebridge Health Should Have A Valid Certification From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha). This Ensures That The Individual Has A Strong Foundation In Pharmacy Operations And Quality Assurance Processes.

  • Experience: At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Pharmacy Setting, Preferably In A Quality Assurance Role, Is Required For This Position. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Understanding Of Pharmaceutical Regulations And Standards.

  • Attention To Detail: Quality Assurance Is A Critical Aspect Of A Pharmacy Operation, And Therefore, The Candidate Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail. They Should Be Able To Identify And Report Any Discrepancies Or Errors In Medication Orders, Inventory, Or Processes.

  • Communication Skills: As A Quality Assurance Pharm Technician, The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Pharmacists, Healthcare Providers, And Patients. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Analytical Skills: Quality Assurance Involves Analyzing Data, Identifying Trends, And Making Recommendations For Process Improvements. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret And Draw Insights From Data To Ensure The Highest Quality Of Pharmaceutical Services.
