Physician: 50/50 Hospitalist / Nocturnist

In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to split your time between caring for patients during the day as a Hospitalist and providing overnight coverage as a Nocturnist. 1. Provide high-quality medical care to patients as a Hospitalist during the day and as a Nocturnist overnight.
2. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
3. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
4. Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
5. Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients.
6. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
7. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
8. Act as a role model for other healthcare team members by displaying professionalism and a positive attitude.
9. Participate in hospital committees and meetings to contribute to the improvement of patient care and hospital processes.
10. Take responsibility for managing a high patient volume and providing timely and efficient care.
11. Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes to enhance the patient experience.
12. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
13. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with other physicians, nurses, and support staff.
14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of healthcare practice.
15. Act as a resource for patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
16. Maintain a commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy.
17. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline processes to increase efficiency and quality of care.
18. Attend and actively participate in trainings, workshops, and conferences to advance knowledge and skills.
