
Phlebotomy Technician
At LifeBridge Health, we're looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Phlebotomy Technician to join our team and perform vital duties in support of patient care. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for the collection of blood specimens and other laboratory specimens from patients, as well as performing administrative tasks related to the job. To join our team, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of experience working as a Phlebotomy Technician. Additionally, you must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle a high-stress and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Collect blood and other laboratory specimens from patients according to established procedures.
- Provide proper patient care and education for specimen collection.
- Label specimens accurately and prepare them for testing.
- Enter patient information into computer system.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, sorting, and organizing documents.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow all safety and health regulations.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Assist laboratory personnel with other tasks as required.
