  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pediatric service line, including managing staffing, budget, and resource allocation.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain standards of practice and clinical protocols for pediatric services.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of pediatric staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements to optimize patient outcomes.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agencies' standards and requirements.
  7. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve pediatric services and meet organizational goals.
  8. Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  9. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff, providing orientation and training as needed.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, effective communication, and professional development opportunities.
  11. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in pediatric care, incorporating best practices into the service line.
  12. Represent the pediatric service line at meetings and conferences, building and maintaining relationships with community partners.
  13. Lead and participate in quality improvement activities, utilizing data to drive performance improvements.
  14. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records related to pediatric services.
  15. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure In The State Of Maryland.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Pediatric Nursing.

  • Previous Management Or Leadership Experience In A Pediatric Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Build Relationships With Patients And Families.
