- Provide direct patient care: The primary responsibility of a Patient Care Tech is to provide hands-on care to patients, including assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety: It is the responsibility of the Patient Care Tech to ensure that patients are comfortable, safe, and well-cared for during their stay. This includes attending to their physical and emotional needs and promptly responding to any concerns or emergencies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: The Patient Care Tech will work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, physicians, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients. This requires effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintain accurate records: Patient records must be accurately maintained and updated by the Patient Care Tech. This includes documenting observations, treatments, and any changes in the patient's condition.

Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Patient Care Techs At Lifebridge Health Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association. This Certification Ensures They Have The Necessary Skills To Respond To Emergencies And Provide Basic Life Support.
Previous Experience In Healthcare: Lifebridge Health Prefers Candidates With Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures.
