  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Assist patients with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities or changes to the nursing staff.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including intake and output, vital signs, and daily activities.
  6. Collaborate with the nursing and medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  7. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols and maintaining cleanliness of patient rooms and common areas.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and ethical standards.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Patient Care Tech At Lifebridge Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Capable Of Handling The Responsibilities Of The Job.

This Includes Experience As A Cna, Medical Assistant, Or Other Healthcare-Related Positions. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Their Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Patient Care Techs At Lifebridge Health Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. They Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals, So The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Build Relationships Is Crucial For This Role.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Lifebridge Health Requires All Patient Care Techs To Have A Current Bls Certification. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques And Is Prepared To Handle Emergencies That May Arise In A Healthcare Setting.
