Your role will involve helping patients with daily tasks, monitoring their vitals, and providing emotional support during their stay.   1. Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
  2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  3. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during their stay.
  4. Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  6. Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  8. Help with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  9. Follow established procedures for documentation and charting.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  11. Participate in patient education activities.
  12. Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly and efficiently.
  13. Assist with stocking and organizing medical supplies.
  14. Attend training and educational sessions to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  16. Treat patients with respect, dignity, and compassion.
  17. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  18. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  19. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  20. Continuously strive to provide exceptional care to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Care Associate At Lifebridge Health Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Education And Knowledge.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Having A Cna Certification Shows That The Candidate Has Completed A Formal Training Program And Has The Necessary Skills To Provide Basic Patient Care.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: A Patient Care Associate Should Be Trained In Basic Life Support Techniques, Such As Cpr, To Be Able To Respond Quickly In Emergency Situations.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Nursing Home, Is Preferred For This Position To Demonstrate Familiarity With Patient Care Procedures And Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Patient Care Associate Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Also Necessary To Build Rapport And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
