Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Office/Front Desk Assistant to join our team and support our clinical practice environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our healthcare professionals and make a direct impact on the experience of our patients. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a friendly demeanor to serve as the face of our practice.   1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice in a warm and friendly manner.
  2. Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  4. Schedule appointments for patients and maintain the appointment calendar.
  5. Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  6. Communicate with patients regarding any necessary paperwork or documentation needed.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  8. Handle insurance verification and billing processes.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  10. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
  12. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and strive to exceed patient expectations.
  15. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on practice policies and procedures.
  16. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the practice.
  17. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.
  18. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager or healthcare professionals.
  20. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of LifeBridge Health.
