- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Scheduling appointments for patients and coordinating with healthcare providers.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and information.
- Handling patient inquiries and providing information about services offered by LifeBridge Health.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Coordinating patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities.
- Managing patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Resolving any issues or complaints from patients or visitors in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Assisting with insurance verification and billing processes.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or other superiors.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates Basic Knowledge And Skills In Areas Such As Communication, Organization, And Computer Proficiency.
Previous Administrative Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In An Administrative Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Shows A Familiarity With Office Procedures, Scheduling, And Customer Service.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For This Position. This Includes Understanding Of Common Medical Abbreviations, Diagnoses, And Procedures.
Excellent Communication Skills: As An Office/Front Desk Assistant, You Will Be Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.
Ability To Multi-Task And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: This Position Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities Simultaneously While Maintaining A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail. Candidates Should Demonstrate The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure And In A Fast-Paced Environment.
