  1. Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives for nursing staff in the emergency department at Grace Medical Center.
  2. Create and maintain a comprehensive orientation program for new nurses, ensuring they are prepared to provide high-quality care to patients.
  3. Conduct ongoing training and education sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of current nursing staff.
  4. Collaborate with department leaders and clinical staff to identify and address educational needs and gaps.
  5. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and simulations, to effectively educate and engage nurses.
  6. Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to nursing education.
  8. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  9. Stay current on developments and advancements in nursing practice and incorporate this knowledge into educational programs.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among nurses in the emergency department.
  11. Participate in the recruitment and selection of new nursing staff, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and possess a passion for nursing education.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  13. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and uphold the standards and values of LifeBridge Health.
  14. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to educational activities and outcomes.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the overall quality of nursing education within the emergency department.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Maryland.

  • Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing Education, Nursing Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Educator In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Effective Teaching And Learning Strategies, Curriculum Development, And Evaluation Techniques.

  • Strong Communication, Leadership, And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams.
